Protect the Pocket was built on a simple belief: when life gets difficult, you have to protect what matters most. Your character. Your integrity. Your family. Your purpose. And your ability to keep moving forward when things don’t go according to plan.
After nearly three decades in law enforcement and public safety leadership, including serving as a Police Chief, I learned that leadership isn’t defined by a title. It’s defined by how you respond when the pressure is on. The same principles that guide people through critical situations—discipline, accountability, preparation, and resilience—also apply to business and everyday life.
Over the years, I’ve experienced success, setbacks, difficult decisions, and moments that forced me to reevaluate what truly matters. Those experiences shaped the philosophy behind Protect the Pocket: focus on what you can control, take responsibility for what comes next, and keep working toward the person, leader, or business you want to become.
Today, Protect the Pocket brings those lessons into business consulting, profit strategy, leadership development, and personal coaching. Whether I’m helping a business owner uncover opportunities for growth or helping someone navigate a difficult season, the mission remains the same: stay focused, protect what matters, and keep moving forward.
